Experts, are the bolts and nuts used for manholes and cleaning holes on oil storage tanks hexagonal or double-headed? Are the bolts and nuts of the ordinary flanges on oil tanks hexagonal or double-ended? Is there anyone who can understand the drawings? There are many uncertainties in them; please help
Double-headed ones are generally used more often; they facilitate threading from one side when it’s not possible to thread from both sides in certain areas. This allows for control over the length of the protrusion on each side, preventing the bolts from being too long and making them difficult to handle
It’s better to use double-headed bolts for manholes
