Lanshi Heavy Equipment has successively completed and delivered 19 pieces of equipment for Xinjiang HuiNeng’s project on the clean and efficient utilization of coal

Recently, 19 pieces of equipment, including heat exchangers, reactors, and regenerators for the 1.3 million tons per year coal tar lightening unit and the 400,000 tons per year coal-based distillate oil dehydrogenation unit as part of Xinjiang HuiNeng Coal Clean and Efficient Utilization Co., Ltd.’s 15 million tons per year coal clean and efficient utilization project, which was undertaken by LANSHI Heavy Equipment, were successfully completed and delivered one after another. Based on the \"low-grade coal rotary bed low-temperature pyrolysis for selective conversion technology,\" this project utilizes three patented technologies – intelligent temperature control, high-temperature dynamic sealing, and efficient dust removal – to successfully overcome global technical challenges related to the removal of dust from high-temperature oil and gas as well as ensuring effective dynamic sealing. It is the first large-scale demonstration project for selective and graded utilization registered under Hami’s **-level coal-to-oil and gas strategy base during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Lanshi Heavy Equipment manufactured 19 units for this project; among them, 6 units such as the refining reactors and hydrocracking reactors are of forge-welded structure, featuring large wall thicknesses, heavy weights, and complex designs. This requires high-level manufacturing techniques and presents significant challenges during construction. The three manufacturing sites – Lanshi Heavy Equipment Refining and Chemicals Branch, Xinjiang Company, and Mobile Factory Branch – focus closely on the technical performance of equipment and the characteristics of product structures, strictly control technical requirements, enhance coordinated operations and seamless workflow integration, to ensure efficient and orderly progress in production. By adopting technical measures such as waste heat utilization and optimized welding processes, the challenges associated with the machining of narrow tube sections and thick-walled components, as well as the control of alignment precision, are effectively addressed. In key processes such as welding and heat treatment, meticulous control throughout the entire process is implemented, and strict quality inspection standards are followed to ensure that both the performance of the equipment and the quality of manufacturing meet all requirements. For oversized equipment, a modular manufacturing and on-site assembly approach is adopted, with organized phased shipments and on-site assembly. At present, 8 threaded lock-ring heat exchangers manufactured by the Refining and Chemicals Branch have been completed and delivered, while 2 reactor units manufactured by the Xinjiang Company have also been completed and ready for shipment. Three reactors and regenerators manufactured by the Xinjiang Company are complete and awaiting dispatch. The Mobile Factory Branch is accelerating the construction of six large-scale forged and welded reactors, including the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth refining reactors as well as the hydrocracking reactor, in accordance with the plan. The various units of Lansi Heavy Equipment stated that they will focus on the annual targets, refine their work plans, ensure strict implementation of responsibilities, and make every effort to deliver the products under development with high quality. They aim to achieve a good start for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of Lansi Heavy Equipment.
