The skeleton oil seal is prone to leakage, shaft grinding, and frequent replacement. The labyrinth seal has an allowable leakage amount and needs to recover the medium. It is easy to cause bearing contamination after high-speed operation and shutdown. It will more or less put more effort into the device. As for the new magnetic bearing isolator, the dynamic and static rings are fixed with sealing rings. The sealing surface does not contact the shaft. The dynamic and static rings are ground against each other. High carbon fiber is used to achieve no shaft wear, zero leakage, low power loss, and a lifespan of 3-5 years. It is a perfect replacement for traditional skeletons and labyrinths.
There is a magnetic module inside between the dynamic and stationary rings.
