1. The vortex flowmeter can only measure in one direction; the direction of the medium flow must be the same as the direction indicated by the arrow on the flowmeter. 2. The vortex flow meter is installed vertically, with the fluid flowing through it from bottom to top. The flow meter is installed on a vertical pipe, with the flow direction from bottom to top. 3. When installed horizontally, the flow meter must be installed in the high-pressure area of the entire system, ensuring the corresponding outlet pressure. Do not install the flow meter at the high point of the pipeline, as gas often accumulates there, the pipeline is not filled completely, and the outlet cannot be emptied directly. 4. When measuring high-temperature fluids, try to use a vertical installation. For horizontal installation, the transmitter part of the flow meter should be installed vertically downward or horizontally to avoid high temperatures. 5. Requirements for straight pipe sections: The pipe diameter before the flow meter should be at least 15 times that of the flow meter, while the pipe diameter after it should be 5 times that of the flow meter. If there are disturbances such as elbows, depressions, or expansion in front of the flow meter, it is necessary to ensure a pipe diameter 40 times that of the flow meter at a distance of 30° in front of it, and a pipe diameter 6 times that of the flow meter at a distance behind it. The flow meter should be installed upstream of the regulator, pressure, or temperature sensor. 6. The pipe diameter should be slightly greater than or equal to the inner diameter of the instrument. 7. When using a sealing ring, ensure that its inner diameter is slightly larger than or equal to the inner diameter of the instrument, and that the center of the sealing ring is aligned with the center of the pipe.
