Are there any standards specifying the spacing between intermittent welds, as well as the size of the weld legs and the length of the welds?
They are all welded intermittently, so they don’t bear pressure directly; of course, there’s no need to look for requirements related to pressure-bearing applications. 150.3 There are certain requirements for the intermittent welding of reinforcement rings in vacuum vessels; I’m not aware of any requirements for other aspects.
