In the lid-making industry, they are employed for drop molding and drying. In the food industry, they are used for baking, freezing, and drying chocolate, biscuits, and fish fillets. The edges of type B conveyor belts can be driven by chains. Also known as trapezoidal or straight-chain conveyor belts, these belts are typically driven by gears; they offer good air permeability, uniform tension, and high quality construction. Such belts feature flexible rotation, good stability, resistance to high temperatures and pressures, corrosion resistance, and a long service life.
