The automatic/manual switch allows changing the control method of the pneumatic output of the Yamada valve positioner between automatic and manual operation. 1. Automatic operation · The signal opposite to the input is output as an SVP output. 2. Manual operation · The supply pressure is output directly from the valve positioner. ·This allows for manual operation using Yuli adjustment. Replacement of the filter screen and repair of the throttle nozzle in Yamaku valve positioners – During the repair process, the compressed air contaminants accumulated in the SVP throttle nozzle can be removed. For tower pressurization air, use dry air free of solid particles larger than 3um (or smaller). Always use a cross-head screwdriver. The specific operating steps for the Yamaku valve positioner are as follows: 1. Cut off the air supply to the SVP. 2. Remove the fixing screw at the A/M switch logo. Note) When removing the screws, be careful not to drop the AM switch cover washer and the wave washer. 3. The A/M switch needs to be switched to the MAN (manual) position. 4. Use a pick or similar tool to remove the old filter by taking off the clamp. Note) Use the correct old fixture and clamp. 5. Use wire to remove contaminants from the throttle nozzle. (Diameter 0.3mm) Note: When removing contaminants, be careful not to damage the throttle nozzle. Please do not use a air gun. Do not allow any oil or grease to contaminate the throttle nozzle. 6. Wind the new filter screen around the A/M switch and press it into place with a clamp. 7. Tighten the A/M switch until it can no longer be turned. 8. Reassemble the AM switch section together with the A/M switch cover using the set screws. Yamatake Valve Positioner Cleaning Baffle: If contaminants in the compressed air accumulate on the baffle, clean it according to the instructions below. Note) If air pressure is supplied to the SVP, the back pressure at the nozzle may change, which could cause the valve position to change suddenly when cleaning the baffle. The baffle can be cleaned only if no one is injured when the valve moves suddenly and the operation of the equipment is not adversely affected. The operation steps for the Yamaku valve positioner are as follows: 1. Remove the cover. 2. Remove the four screws from the cover plate. 3. Slide the cover plate to the left and remove it. 4. Provide paper sheets with a thickness of 0.2 mm. A standard business card will do. 5. Use a piece of paper to clean the dirt between the EPM nozzle and the baffle. 6. After cleaning the gap, reinstall the cover plate and the lid.
