It is a protection system composed of three comprehensive protection devices for belt conveyors, thereby providing three types of protection for such conveyors: speed protection, temperature protection, and protection against shutdown at any point along the conveyor. 1. Belt conveyor temperature protection. When the temperature of the belt conveyor drum rises above the limit due to friction with the belt, a detection device (transmitter) mounted right next to the drum sends out an over-temperature signal. Upon receiving this signal, the receiver triggers the actuating mechanism after a 3-second delay, thereby cutting off power to the motor and causing the conveyor to stop automatically, thus providing temperature protection. 2. Belt conveyor speed protection. If a belt conveyor fails, such as when the motor burns out, the mechanical transmission parts are damaged, the belt or chain breaks, or the belt slips, the magnetic control switch in the accident sensor SG, which is installed on the driven components of the belt conveyor, cannot close or cannot close at the normal speed. In such cases, the control system will, based on a reverse-time characteristic and after a certain delay, activate the speed protection circuit, causing the actuating mechanism to operate and cut off power to the motor in order to prevent the situation from worsening. 3. Protection against shutdown at any point along the belt conveyor. If it is necessary to stop the belt conveyor at any point, the switch at that location must be switched to the intermediate stop position, and the belt conveyor will stop immediately. When it needs to be turned on again, first reset the switch, then press the signal switch to send the signal.
