Design issues related to the three-effect evaporation pipeline. In the photo below: the pink condensate pipeline from the second-effect heating chamber to the third-effect heating chamber. Why is a U-shaped bend required?
Ensure that the condensate pipes are fully filled to prevent vacuum conditions from occurring
The pressure in the preceding evaporator is different from that in the following evaporator; this serves as a liquid seal to prevent air from passing through.
