Recently, the upper module in question was finished and dispatched from the international high-end equipment manufacturing base located in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao. This platform has set multiple records, including the first-ever use of a technology for the prefabricated assembly and lifting of electrical modules as a whole, as well as a debugging method for supplying medium-voltage power to the upper structural components via shore power. The total weight of this module is approximately 3,310 tons. Its main structure consists of two decks; the main deck is 36.3 meters long and 36.1 meters wide, with a projected area equivalent to that of 3 basketball courts. Multiple digital technologies are applied in the design, enabling functions such as intelligent oil production, intelligent equipment operation and maintenance, and intelligent security. The Xijiang Area 24 Development Project is a digital transformation project for offshore oil fields. The operation depth is approximately 90 meters. A new unmanned platform, Xijiang 24-7, 1 underwater pipeline for mixed transport with a length of 8.5 kilometers, and 1 umbilical cable with a length of 8.5 kilometers will be constructed, while the Xijiang 24-3B platform will be upgraded. The 24-7 WHPA upper module will be transported over 2,000 kilometers by sea to the Xijiang Oil Field area, where the module lifting operations will commence; once in operation, it will serve the Xijiang Oil Field area in the eastern South China Sea.
