Happy National Day! ! ! ----------------------------------------- In September 2023, the wash tower, which is the core static equipment for the 300,000 tons per year EO (ethylene oxide) production facility as part of Wanhua Penglai Industrial Park’s high-performance new materials integration project, was completed and delivered by Zhanghuaji (Suzhou) Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. This equipment is a thousand-ton class five-in-one washing tower with a large diameter and extended length; its internal structure is complex, and high standards are required for its construction. The overall manufacturing effort is substantial, and the timeline is tight. During the equipment manufacturing process, in the face of numerous unresolved items in the construction drawings, design changes, the need to adjust elevations and reposition components after welding the main lifting lugs, failures of large gantry cranes during final assembly, as well as prolonged periods of rainy weather, all team members at Zhanghua Machinery worked hard to overcome these challenges. The company’s leadership paid close attention to this process, visiting the manufacturing site on multiple occasions to address difficult issues and ensure product quality and timely production progress. The production department assigned its best employees to work around the clock, and by leveraging human resources as well as machinery and equipment, it ensured the smooth delivery of products even under heavy production demands. This EO scrubber represents another significant achievement by Zhanghua Machinery in the manufacturing of core equipment such as EO scrubbers, following the successful delivery of EO unit scrubbers for projects like Guli Petrochemical and Hengli Petrochemical. It is also the first thousand-ton-class large-scale tower to be delivered since Wanhua Chemical, a leading enterprise in China’s chemical industry, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Zhanghua Machinery. This marks an ongoing deepening of the strategic partnership between the two companies, as they embark on a new chapter of mutual trust and win-win cooperation.
