Are epoxy phenolic resin coatings and phenolic epoxy resin coatings the same type of coating? What are the differences in their areas of use, and can both withstand temperatures of 200°C? Thank you
I think so; phenolic resins can be either thermoplastic or thermosetting, and some of them can reach temperatures of 200°C.

Epoxy phenolic resin paint is a high-performance, highly cross-linked two-component epoxy phenolic paint for storage tanks, featuring excellent heat resistance and solvent resistance. Epoxy phenolic resin paint is suitable as an inner lining for storage and processing vessels in petrochemical plants, to resist the erosion of acidic crude oil at temperatures up to 95°C (203°F) and water from gas separators. It exhibits good resistance to aromatic and aliphatic solvents. 2. Phenolic epoxy resin, a polymer formed by the polycondensation of epoxides and linear phenolic resins under the catalysis of sodium hydroxide. Phenolic resins have good thermal stability, but they require heating and pressure during curing; the reaction produces water as a by-product, which leads to residual bubbles. They also suffer from significant volume shrinkage upon curing, and their resistance to alkalis is poor. Generally, bisphenol A-type epoxy resins can be cured at normal pressure and room temperature, with minimal volume shrinkage, and they offer resistance to both acids and alkalis, though their thermal stability is poor. Phenolic epoxy resins, which are obtained by epoxidizing linear phenols as the polymer backbone, combine the high thermal stability of phenolic resins with the high reactivity of epoxy resins.
