Our company has a project that requires the purchase of imported 316L steel plates. I would like to ask those of you who have experience in this area: among Sweden, Japan, Germany, and Taiwan, which country offers the best quality for imported 316L steel plates (medium and thick plates)? ? ? How long is the procurement cycle? Furthermore, the metal element content is similar in both imported and domestically produced products, so what exactly is the difference? What’s the good part?
Imported ones have better corrosion resistance. Moreover, there is a type of material for which domestic materials won’t work, but imported steel plates supplied by our partners are perfectly suitable
Regarding the content of metal elements, domestic products tend to be at the lower limit of the ASME standard, while those from Europe and America are either at the middle level or near the upper limit. Corrosion resistance will be better. I recommend you purchase Swedish and German brands. Pay attention to the corresponding material grade.

Do you really know or do you pretend to know? The sulfur and phosphorus (impurity) content in domestically produced 316 steel plates is much lower than the requirements specified by ASTM. Why boost others’ morale at the expense of one’s own prestige?
Alas, there’s nothing we can do about worshipping foreign things; their standards are low yet the product quality is high, while our standards are high, but what about the actual products? !
