Question: When a mixture of dilute sulfuric acid and thiourea is heated to around 80 degrees Celsius, 316L material is not corrosion-resistant. What material should be used to provide corrosion protection in this case? Is a lining made of PTFE material okay?

In terms of material, fluorinated lining is an option
The lining is made of PTFE material, which has a drawback: due to thermal expansion and contraction, it tends to come loose and crack.

Cracking and peeling are issues that depend largely on the PTFE material used; ordinary plastics have a very high coefficient of thermal expansion, and if their elongation rate and tensile strength are poor, the lining can easily get damaged due to thermal expansion and contraction as well as pipe vibrations during operation, especially at the areas where the pipe bends at 90 degrees. But with good materials and advanced processing techniques, this temperature difference isn’t a problem; we have experience working with temperatures ranging from 80 to 180 degrees, along with 40% sulfuric acid, in cold-and-heat cycle conditions.
