Material selection for pressure vessels based on the corresponding medium

Hello, colleagues. After working on the design of pressure vessel equipment for a long time, I often encounter many issues related to material selection. For example, what are the advantages and disadvantages of S30408, S30403, S31603, and S31608 respectively? How should one choose the appropriate material for design purposes? And how should we take into account other factors such as intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion, hydrogen sulfide corrosion, and so on? Currently, I generally refer to the material-related section of HG/T20582-2011. I remember that one of the reference books had appendices detailing which materials should be used for different types of media; I can’t recall the title of that book. It’s a several hundred-page book. I hope fellow enthusiasts will actively share their insights – the more, the better. Please recommend some reference books; thank you very much!
