The washing residue that comes out of the filter press enters the residue pipeline for disposal; this residue contains 10% sodium chloride and is essentially neutral, though it can be slightly acidic at times. The pipeline is made of 304 stainless steel, but it corroded and leaked after just half a year. I would like to ask what type of pipe is better and offers good cost-performance. If sacrificial anodes are to be used, how is it implemented specifically?
Check the temperature! The temperature isn’t high; carbon steel plus non-metals! Use titanium for high temperatures!
The chloride ion concentration in sodium chloride should be high; austenitic stainless steel cannot be used. If the temperature and pressure are not high, non-metallic pipes can be employed.

Stainless steel is not even as good as carbon steel; when the temperature is not high, it’s best to use steel-lined or non-metallic pipes

If the pressure is not high (10 kg) and the temperature is not high (below 60 degrees), PVC pipes can be used. Because the material selection for corrosion resistance is related to the operating conditions. Such as temperature, pressure, medium, etc.
When the temperature is below 60 degrees and the pressure is less than 0.1 MPA, polypropylene or PVC pipes can be used.
