I often see group members asking for help on forums, and then some people reply to those posts. Many of them come from sales backgrounds and lack the ability to address technical issues; they immediately start pushing their own products, which can easily lead to going in the wrong direction or even into trouble. That would undermine the core value of our forum... I have been on this forum for many years; I have learned various ways of thinking here, gained a lot of valuable information, broadened my horizons, and met many experts from different fields. I am grateful to the forum’s maintainers for creating such a platform!
I’ve been in the dry chemical industry for three years. I used to register under the name Chemical 007, but it seems like not many people were using that name anymore. Today, by coming to Haichuan, I feel like I’ve found a community.
In fact, the forum is a place where our anti-corrosion engineers and related technical personnel mainly discuss technical issues. Through these discussions, everyone can improve at various levels; for the problems that need to be solved, good experiences and measures can be adopted to enhance technical skills and working capabilities.
The core values of the forum are the pursuit of excellence, openness to diversity, and progress through collaboration.
I agree that one can analyze and solve problems from different angles and levels based on their own knowledge and skills. Of course, providing some clues or information to help solve the problem isn’t a bad idea either. Personally, I really dislike those cases where products are forcefully promoted in a direct manner; sometimes such promoted products or technologies have nothing to do with the actual problem at hand
I agree with you; from now on I will share more testing methods and precautions
Sales are also a catalyst, right? For the application markets of new products, sales efforts are still necessary
If it’s for a sales advertisement, you can contact the “cleaners” directly to run an advertisement in a legitimate manner, which should yield good results.
There are advertising sections in it; I’m not referring to the actions of the forum organizers, but rather those of the forum members. Promoting one’s own products by offering reasonable suggestions is much more popular than direct promotion. Some people lack this ability; they bring their own products in right from the start, which can easily lead to things going wrong
