Do you have plastic-lined pipes in PN25, PN40, and PN64 kg? Can the pressure rating be this high?
Can the steel lining of that equipment also reach at most PN16?
Based on my understanding and experience, the expansion coefficients vary; the impact is significant when the pressure is high. I’ve also never seen grades above PN16
When the combination of pressure and temperature is high, the stress on the main body increases; plastics such as PTFE used in linings do not have such high tensile strength, so they separate under these conditions. To put it vividly, it’s similar to using a lighter to heat the outer coating of a wire, causing the coating to shrink and come off – though the mechanism isn’t exactly the same, there is some similarity
