Which is more expensive, glass-lined equipment or stainless steel equipment?
For the same specifications, stainless steel should be more expensive.
That’s true; if the glass-lined body is damaged, its recycling value is low, and it can only be sold as scrap metal
This question should have a premise. When the two can be used interchangeably.
Some customers are quite interesting: the equipment body is made of glass-lined steel, while the mixer is made of stainless steel, which is why I have this question
That makes sense; the main advantage is corrosion resistance. Using a glass-lined reactor at lower pressures is more economical, though of course the agitator cannot be made of glass lining.
What’s the point of using stainless steel? Ordinary materials are definitely more expensive when coated with enamel; after all, the cost per ton is fixed
