Ortho-formic acid, meta-formic acid, para-formic acid, phenylacetic acid, and methyl benzoate all have the same molecular formula, namely C8H8O2. Do you mean that substances with the same molecular formula have the same corrosiveness, right?

If it is ready-to-use formic acid, which contains little water and few impurities, there is no problem using stainless steel containers for storing it. Additionally, if large quantities of this product are involved, wouldn’t using plastic bags made from polymer materials be better? They are convenient for sub-packaging, as well as for storage and transportation; a waterproof tarpaulin can be used to cover them during storage and transport. 3-**Formic acid has slightly stronger acidity than acetic acid, that is, vinegar, but since it is a solid, its direct corrosive effect on metals is likely not greater than that of acetic acid. This substance is a raw material for making mosquito repellent.
