Dear experts: For materials exposed to nitrides and sulfuric acid mixtures with a concentration of over 85% at 170 degrees, what material would be suitable?
Normally, 0Cr18Ni9Ti is used, which is 321 stainless steel; if that doesn’t work, then superalloys can be used to solve the problem once and for all
Enameled or glass-lined material, but the pressure rating should not exceed 0.3 MPa
There are nitrates, so oxidation resistance is required; there is sulfuric acid as well as high temperatures, so corrosion resistance is necessary. The pressure level isn’t known yet. If the pressure isn’t high, it is recommended to use enamel or glass-lined materials; high-alloy materials can also be used, though the investment cost will be much higher
Under such operating conditions, the use of silicon carbide material provides better corrosion resistance.
