We know that the heat pipe exchanger in the heating furnace of petrochemical plants is an energy-saving device. However, in actual use, the surface of the heat pipe is highly susceptible to corrosion and scaling by smoke gases. This limits the use of heat pipe exchangers. What we need to do is determine what anti-corrosion measures can be used to solve such problems.
The following measures can be taken to address surface corrosion and scaling in the heat pipe exchangers of petrochemical heating furnaces: 1. Use corrosion-resistant materials: Manufacture heat pipes from alloys with better corrosion resistance, such as stainless steel, duplex steel, or titanium alloys. 2. Surface treatment technology: Coating the surface of heat exchange tubes, such as by spraying, electroplating, or thermal spraying with corrosion-resistant coatings. 3. Add chemicals: Incorporate scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors into the medium to reduce the formation of scale and the occurrence of corrosion. 4. Regular cleaning: Establish a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for the heat exchanger to remove scale and corrosion products in a timely manner. 5. Fluid control: Optimize the flow rate and temperature of the medium to prevent scaling and corrosion caused by improper fluid parameters. 6. Install a filtration system: Place a filtering device before the heat exchange system to protect the heat pipes from corrosion caused by particles and scale. The combined use of the above methods can effectively reduce corrosion and scaling on the surface of heat exchangers. .
