The image below shows the results of applying a titanium nanopolymer coating for corrosion protection to an underground sewage pipeline (φ820) at a petrochemical company, with a coating thickness of 200μm. It has performed well over the past nearly 20 years, with no leaks occurring.
As an anti-corrosion material for buried sewage pipes, nano-coatings indeed show significant effectiveness, enabling to extend the service life of the pipes. .
