Common lining techniques include cement mortar lining, plastic lining, rubber lining, and fiberglass lining. 1. Cement mortar lining: A cement mortar lining is an anti-corrosion technique used on the inner wall of pipes. This technique involves applying the prepared cement mortar to the inner wall of the cleaned pipe in one or more layers, according to the required thickness, and after a certain period of curing, it forms a highly strong, tightly bonded cylindrical lining layer with the inner wall of the pipe. It takes advantage of the alkaline properties and self-healing ability of the cement mortar to create a protective layer on the metal inner wall of the pipe, preventing corrosion. 2. Inverted lining method: The construction technique of the inverted lining method reduces various constraints associated with the maintenance of urban underground pipelines, lowers construction costs, and enhances the functions of these pipelines such as pressure resistance, drag reduction, scale prevention, and corrosion resistance. It also improves the overall sealing performance of the pipelines; the lifespan of the pipelines after treatment can be extended by 30–50 years. The technical principle behind the construction method of flipping the lining is to use a composite fiber-reinforced hose with an impermeable and corrosion-resistant protective film as a carrier; after impregnating it with epoxy or unsaturated resin, water or air is used as a driving force to press the hose tightly against the inside of the old pipe. Once cured, a strong-integrity inner wall layer is formed inside the old pipe. It can effectively prevent corrosion on the inner wall of the pipeline, thus protecting it.
