On June 26, it was learned that the expansion project of Guangxi Yong’an Huaxia New Materials Co., Ltd., aimed at increasing its annual paint production capacity to 40,000 tons, has recently been completed and put into operation. The project was carried out within the premises of Guangxi Yong’an Huaxia New Materials Co., Ltd. in the chemical industrial park located in the Chongzuo High-Tech Industrial Development Zone (formerly the China-Thailand Chongzuo Industrial Park) in Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City; no additional land was utilized for this project. Upon completion of the project, the total capacity of the entire plant will be 75,000 tons per year. This project involves an expansion within the existing production facility, with the addition of a production capacity of 5,000 tons per year for architectural coatings, 10,000 tons per year for water-based coatings, 5,000 tons per year for special functional coatings, and 5,000 tons per year for other types of coatings. At the same time, a new solvent-based coating production line with an annual capacity of 5,000 tons will be established ； Construct a new facility for producing 10,000 tons per year of advanced inorganic coatings. Upon completion of the project, the total capacity of the entire plant will be 75,000 tons per year. Public information shows that Yongan Huaxia was established in 1999 and is mainly engaged in the research, development, production, sales, and service of coatings. Its products fall into five categories: anti-corrosion coatings for steel structures, fire-resistant coatings, wall coatings, floor coatings, and special mortars. The company collaborates with various research institutions and universities, including the China Building Materials Science Research Institute, Guangxi Building Materials Research Institute, and Hunan University. It has laboratories for the synthesis of new polymers, anti-corrosion coatings, fire-resistant materials, building coatings, special mortars, and color technology. At present, Yongan Huaxia has a production capacity of 35,000 tons of coatings and mortars, including: 5,000 tons per year of stone-like paint, 500 tons per year of multi-color paint, 5,000 tons per year of latex paint, 1,000 tons per year of ultra-thin fire-resistant paint, 2,500 tons per year of thin fire-resistant paint, 10,000 tons per year of thick fire-resistant paint, 1,000 tons per year of epoxy floor coating, 500 tons per year of water-based anti-corrosion paint for steel structures, and 10,000 tons per year of special mortars. According to Tianyancha, the company invested in establishing a holding subsidiary, Guangxi Qinglian New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., in June 2024 (holding 80% of the shares), and also invested in setting up another holding subsidiary, Guangxi Songyu New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., in January 2025 (holding 51% of the shares).
