Definition of CTS technology: CTS is a high-performance stainless steel corrosion and coking resistance technology that is at the international leading level in terms of surface modification to enhance corrosion and coking resistance in stainless steels used in the petrochemical industry. Principle of CTS technology: The corrosion-resistant CTS stainless steel technology utilizes chemical-electrochemical methods to create a nanoscale gradient layer of new material on the surface of the stainless steel. This process removes iron elements from the surface, resulting in a honeycomb-like structure; thereafter, corrosion-resistant elements such as chromium and molybdenum are added into these porous structures. This treatment method alters the structure and composition of the stainless steel surface, thereby enhancing its corrosion resistance. By forming special film layers and structures on its surface, stainless steel can better resist erosion from harsh environments. For example, in the extreme corrosive conditions of high temperature and high acidity found in oil refineries, stainless steel components treated with CTS technology can withstand such conditions, thereby extending their service life significantly, enhancing the safety of the equipment, and reducing the maintenance costs for refineries.
