According to Sinochem New Network, on November 25th, at the 2025 China International Coatings Exhibition held in Shanghai, Lanxess presented innovative solutions related to inorganic pigments and industrial biocides, aiming to help the coatings industry move toward a more efficient and environmentally friendly future. First, expand the Scopeblue sustainable pigment portfolio to support low-carbon coating systems. As a reliable partner in the field of iron oxide and chromium oxide pigments, Lanxess will showcase the new Scopeblue series of micronized yellow iron oxide pigments: Bayferrox 3910, 3910 LV, and 3920. These pigments are highly suitable for high-quality formulations, such as pigment dispersions and exterior wall coatings with high pigment content, offering significant potential for sustainable products. Second, establish a closed-loop microbial protection system to address new coating regulations and production line hygiene challenges. Lanxess will also present comprehensive solutions for industrial sterilization, ship anti-fouling, and factory hygiene, highlighting its expertise in microbial management. As globally renowned fungicide brands under LANXESS, Preventol, Biox, Kathon, Bioban, Rocima, and Sea-Nine provide safe and sustainable microbial protection for coatings and finishes. Furthermore, Lanxess stated that it will remain rooted in the local market and respond to changes in the market through technological innovation. Lanxess continues to strengthen the development of local technical capabilities. The Asia-Pacific Application Development Center (AADC) located in Shanghai, along with the microbiology laboratory established there, has become a key platform for rapidly responding to the needs of customers in China and the Asia-Pacific region by providing localized product development and technical support.
