According to Sinochem New Network, the global event for the coatings industry, the American Coatings Show 2026 (ACS 2026), took place from May 5th to May 7th in Indianapolis, United States. DYF Pigments participated in this event, showcasing three new product series. As a highly influential professional coating exhibition in North America, ACS 2026 brings together the world’s cutting-edge technologies and top brands, serving as a key platform for the introduction of new products and business partnerships. According to Mr. Gong Yumin, General Manager of Deifu Pigments USA, Deifu has introduced three new products this time: temperature-resistant zinc iron yellow, easily dispersible iron oxide, and anti-corrosion mica iron oxide. These products are specifically designed to meet the needs of industries such as coatings and plastics, demonstrating the company’s innovation capabilities and its commitment to an international expansion strategy. As one of the key new products launched, the heat-resistant zinc-iron yellow is designed for use in the plastics industry. It overcomes the limitations of traditional products in terms of heat resistance, having been developed using a new formula that grants it excellent heat resistance; it can withstand the high temperatures encountered during plastic processing. Additionally, it offers superior weather resistance, stability against acids and alkalis, as well as color stability, with a pure hue that does not fade easily. It is specifically designed for applications such as plastic injection molding, plastic modification, and plastic coating. It addresses the industry challenges associated with traditional pigments, including discoloration at high temperatures, uneven dispersion, and unstable coloring during plastic processing. By offering a new solution for coloring in the plastic industry, it combines practicality with environmental sustainability, ensuring safety and compliance to meet the production requirements of various plastic products. Addressing the challenges in industries such as coatings, inks, and plastics, including poor dispersibility, tendency to agglomerate, and long grinding times, the newly introduced easy-to-disperse iron oxide features surface modification and advanced processing techniques that enable better dispersibility and coloring stability. It solves these key issues across various industries and meets the production needs of different fields. First, it is highly dispersible; no prolonged grinding is required, which significantly improves production efficiency and reduces energy consumption ; Secondly, there is no floating color, no mottling, and no layering; the paint film and the surface of the finished product are uniform and smooth ; Thirdly, it has stronger coloring power, purer colors, and more stable batch consistency, reducing color variation losses during production ; Fourth, it is resistant to high temperatures, weathering, and migration, making it suitable for production in various systems and processes ; Fifth, it is compatible with water-based/solvent-based/powder systems, offering greater versatility ; Sixthly, it features safety and compliance, low dust generation, and is more environmentally friendly, aligning with the global trend toward green production. The newly launched, fully updated version of mica iron oxide features advanced purification and surface modification processes that optimize its particle structure and properties, resulting in enhanced shielding against rust, better corrosion resistance, improved weather resistance, and significantly improved physical protective capabilities. Focusing on the coating industry, it is particularly suitable for heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, industrial protective paints, and anti-corrosion systems for steel structures. Its unique flaky structure enables the formation of a dense protective layer that effectively prevents the penetration of water and oxygen, thereby extending the service life of the coating. This meets the high standards and stringent requirements of the global industrial anti-corrosion industry ; It is also safe and compliant, environmentally friendly with low dust generation, compatible with various coating systems, and meets the high-end anti-corrosion requirements in overseas markets. Mr. Gong Yumin said that during the exhibition, Deifu Pigments had the opportunity to interact with internationally renowned companies such as Lanxess and SUDARSHAN, sharing the advantages of their new products and discussing industry trends. It also allowed them to meet global buyers and establish long-term cooperation channels, thereby accelerating the international rollout of their new products. Mr. Gao Fujun, chairman of Deifu Pigments, said that the company has always placed technological innovation at its core, focusing on the key challenges in the industry to drive research and development efforts. Participating in this exhibition is not only a way to showcase the capabilities of new products, but also an important step in connecting with the global community and enhancing the industry. In the future, the company will continue to improve its products, expand its network of partnerships through close interactions with international partners, and work together with clients both at home and abroad for mutual success.
