From a market perspective, 321 stainless steel contains titanium as an alloying element, which gives it better high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance; however, the cost of raw materials for this material is higher ; 410 stainless steel is a conventional martensitic stainless steel that does not contain precious alloys, and therefore its price is relatively low. This difference in materials is directly reflected in the final selling price of the composite panel. According to recent supply information, the price range for 321+CS composite sheets is approximately ¥13–16 per kilogram, with some high-strength or specially specified products reaching ¥19.95 per kilogram. Since the 410+CS composite plate is rarely used in high-end applications, its market price is typically below ¥10 per kilogram, giving it a significant overall cost advantage. Although the specific price is affected by thickness, size, order quantity, and region, overall, 321+CS is about 50%–100% more expensive than 410+CS. If the project budget is limited and the operating environment is mild (such as normal temperature and low corrosion), 410+CS can serve as a cost-effective alternative ; In the presence of high temperatures or corrosive media, it is recommended to give priority to the 321+CS material, which offers better performance.
