It is said that PDSOFT comes with a standard library for non-metallic pipes; I’m not sure which standard it is. The pipes are non-metallic, while the flanges are steel flanges lined with plastic. How is such a library created? Is it possible to simply select the flanges? Fittings such as elbows and tees should be made of non-metallic materials; I’m not sure which standard to choose. I hope the experienced users at PDSOFT can offer some guidance~{:3_57:}
I’m not sure whether it refers to the standards for pure PP pipes or those for PP pipes with a steel lining. If it’s a pipe with a plastic lining over a steel core, the national standard is HG50238, the American standard is AMSE B16.5, and the European standard is DIN2848
Pure PP, FRPP. I searched through the standards in PDSOFT yesterday afternoon and finally found it – the FRPP pipeline standards issued by the Ministry of Chemical Industry; they indeed exist. PDSOFT is quite powerful for working on small projects~
Yes, for small projects, both PDSOFT and CADWORX are good choices
