Does Caesar calculate secondary stresses – as long as it does that, is it fine? 99% at the maximum value is also considered acceptable, but it’s quite low. How much margin do people usually leave? Some people say it should generally be kept below 60%……
I also heard during training at software companies that as long as it passes the tests, that’s sufficient; but when design firms or other large organizations carry out designs, they might require that the stress level be kept below 80%.
Theoretically, values within 100% are considered safe, but in practice there are differences from the theoretical calculations, and this margin is used for such purposes. As mentioned earlier, most organizations keep the value around 80%, below 90%.
