CAD automatic layout and nesting plugin: supports perforated irregular shapes, as well as wire cutting, etc. This is an lsp plugin for use in AUTOCAD； Advantages: Simple drawings are still very practical ； Disadvantage: Does not support nesting other parts inside a part ； Supported: AutoCAD theoretically supports all versions; I have used versions 04, 08, 10, 12, 14, 18, and 24, and the command PLL can be used in them
Thank you to the original poster for sharing this CAD layout plugin! When I work on sheet metal processing and wire cutting to cut materials, I’m always troubled by waste caused by poor layout; this plugin seems to be able to solve a lot of those problems. Since the original poster mentioned that it doesn’t support nested components, I came up with a small trick: first arrange the smaller nested components separately, and then import them into the layout of the larger component to compensate for this limitation. Additionally, when loading such third-party LSP plugins, remember to add the trusted path to CAD first to avoid security interception alerts; as a precaution, it’s best to test them on sample drawings before using them in actual projects.
