When drawing a process flow diagram for a belt control system, if there are multiple pumps in the diagram, can they not be drawn at the same horizontal level? Is it a problem if they are drawn at different heights?

PID only indicates the approximate positional relationship; it’s not that absolute!
From the perspective of a neat and attractive appearance, it’s necessary to draw things more neatly; if there isn’t enough space, other areas can be adjusted. Of course, the position on the PID does not represent the installation location.
