There is currently a project to simulate the synthesis of sodium methoxide. The solution system consists of sodium methoxide, methanol, a base, and water, and Aspen’s electrolyte solution is being used for simulation. However, there is a problem: the electrolyte analysis cannot account for the ionization of sodium methoxide. Through effort, binary interaction parameters similar to those of the sodium methoxide system as well as ptxx data were found; it is necessary to input the interaction parameters of the CH3O- ion with other substances. I defined a CH3O- ion by estimating its physical properties, but when entering the interaction parameters, it was indicated that the defined CH3O- ion is not an ion. I wonder if any expert has a solution! ! !
