In ASPEN PLUS, there was a situation where it was necessary to design the columns in segments, with two columns connected in series, the output of Column 1 serving as the input for Column 2. However, ASPEN PLUS requires parameters such as the pressure of the columns to be entered by default; so how should the parameters for Column 2 be set?
There are pipes and valves from the first tower to the second tower; it depends on the actual situation and on how much pressure drop there is. In some cases, the pressure drop is a few kilograms
Set it first according to the designed operating pressure, and adjust it after running Aspen. Moreover, the pressure difference across the tower is generally very low compared to the operating pressure
