Seeking help regarding CAD installation error message

Dear experts, I’m encountering an error message when trying to install CAD on my Windows 7 PC: Error 1606. The network location Autodesk\AutoCAD2007\R17.0\chs\ cannot be accessed. The answers found on Baidu also don’t solve the problem. I really can’t find a way to solve the problem. I really don’t want to reinstall the computer. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Please give some guidance.
1. Possible cause: Corrupted files resulting from file decompression. The old CAD program-related files on the computer were not uninstalled properly (no cleanup was done during uninstallation). 2. Solution: Open the Registry: regedit. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. In the right-hand window, find the registry entry corresponding to “%allusersprofile%\start menu\programs\startup\” and change it to “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\“Start” menu\Programs\Startup”.
