Water hammer in the condensate recovery tank

Water hammer occurs from time to time, mainly at the U-shaped bends. This issue can be addressed temporarily by reducing the pressure of the condensate water to 4 bar (in fact, if the heating control valve isn’t opened fully, 4 bar shouldn’t be reached). The manual valve can help solve this problem for a while. The manager believes that it is caused by the collision of the two streams of condensate water; I hope someone experienced can take a look at this issue. Thank you!
It would be better if the two streams of condensate entered the condensate tank separately.
The inlet pressures on the two sides are different; a pressure difference of 0.5 bar behind the control valve can be tried. Or add a check valve at 4 bar near the junction to prevent backflow.
