Why is part of the content not displayed when CAD2016 opens a file created in 2010? How should it be handled
Which part is not displayed? Text or lines?
Text not displaying is usually due to a missing font.
But I’ve already spent over 2000 on that font package and installed it as well, yet it still doesn’t appear
Did you get a message saying a font was missing when opening the file? If so, just select font replacement
Open the text style dialog box and check if there are any font names preceded by an exclamation mark; if so, it means that no corresponding font is available, and you can change it to one of your existing fonts.
It’s a matter of fonts; it’s not about having many font libraries, but rather whether the specific font that is needed is available. We have encountered this situation before as well; in such cases, we would contact the design team to obtain the font library.
When opening a lower-version file in a higher-version of AutoCAD, some data may be lost; therefore, it is better to use the PDF version with signatures. We use Zhongwang CAD, and strangely enough, some of the data shown does not match the actual values, and the software manufacturer is unable to resolve this issue.
