Problems with estimating the properties of Aspen

When using Aspen to estimate physical properties based on the known normal boiling point, why are some substances provided with very few parameters, while others yield many parameters during estimation? For parameters such as CP that are also affected by temperature, Aspen provides the formulas for these parameters, but what do these formulas look like and where can they be found?

Few parameters are used; perhaps the equation to be implemented requires fewer parameters to achieve a good fit； More parameters mean that equations with fewer parameters cannot achieve a good fit. The formula for CP can be found in the help file help.

If fewer parameters are provided, it’s likely because fewer temperature ranges have been set; the formula can be selected next to the property field
