There is currently a newly built bromine storage area, with all storage tanks being lined with enamel and all pipelines made of PVDF. The foundation of these tanks is 0.5 meters above the ground level, and fire dikes are installed around the area. Bromine is non-flammable but acts as a strong oxidizing agent; its fire hazard classification is Category B. How can fire and explosion prevention measures be implemented in this bromine storage area? Additionally, how should lightning protection and static electricity grounding be arranged for the storage tanks and pipelines?
To be honest, I really haven’t seen bromine used for fire or lightning protection; it’s generally used for corrosion prevention. Bromine tanks are usually placed adjacent to other tanks, on the ground/ or below the ground.
