I’ve just started working with this, and I’m facing huge difficulties in selecting the appropriate materials. The descriptions in the database use SH standards, but the software uses US standards; I need a comparison table – otherwise it’s impossible to figure out what to use.
Don’t try to use the American standard material database, as many of its parameters differ from those of the national standard. Create your own material database based on the parameter items in the material database; such information can be found in common reference books.
GB20801 provides material references, so there are generally no major issues.
