Draw a rectangle in the [Model] space; this rectangle is used to illustrate the difference between the [Sheet] and [Model] spaces. 3. This thick outline is called the [Viewport]; it can be created via the menu bar [View] – [Viewport]. It defines the range of the drawing, with any area outside this range not being displayed. Additionally, the rectangle at this time is selectable and editable. 4. Switch back to [Drawing], scroll the wheel to see the page zoom in or out. At this time, the rectangle is not selectable or editable ； The viewport is editable. Similarly, drawings under [Drawing] cannot be selected or edited under [Model]. 5. By taking advantage of the characteristics of these two modes, switch between them as appropriate while drawing – for example, use the [Model] mode for drafting and the [Sheet] mode for scaling – to avoid any displacement or distortion of the graphics. Moving a graphic can be done using the [Move] option in the toolbar on the right. 6. First, select the graphic you want to move, then click [Move]. At the same time, you can turn on 【Object Snap】 below; when this is done, moving the pointer to the edge of a shape will result in a small square (or triangle or funnel shape) appearing. By clicking with the left button and then moving the pointer, the shape will move along with it.
