It is believed that every designer who uses the Haochen CAD software to create CAD drawings has encountered situations where there are many question marks in those drawings. Generally, this is due to the lack of CAD fonts. But sometimes, even though there are fonts in the CAD drawings, a bunch of question marks still appear when the drawings are opened. Why is that? Let me give you a detailed introduction below! CAD operation demonstration: Accurately finding text styles and replacing them 1. View text styles by selecting the question mark, and check the text styles through the software’s property panel ; If the property box is hidden, it can be brought up using Ctrl+1. It can be seen that the text style is TH-STYLE1. 2. To find missing font styles, enter ST in the command window and press Enter to open the text style dialog box ; It can be determined in the font box that the SimSun font is missing. 3. Download and install the SimSun font, which is a TTF font included in the computer system; it can be downloaded from the Internet and placed in the system’s fonts folder. 4. Verify whether the font has been installed successfully by previewing to see if the missing font on the computer is now installed. 5. After restarting the HaoChen CAD software following the successful installation of the fonts, open the drawings that previously displayed question marks; now the fonts will be visible in their entirety. 6. Once again, use the shortcut command ST to check the text style; by doing so, you can see that the style TH-STYLE1 corresponds to the font Huawen Fangsong, which is the font package that was just installed. This shows that issues such as missing fonts in CAD can be resolved quickly in this way. Are the above CAD tutorials very useful? Everyone no longer needs to worry about the many questionable aspects in CAD drawings.
This is the solution for when there is a question mark in the font; as for cases where the question mark isn’t even displayed, that is, when the font doesn’t show up at all, how to fix that. I hope experienced teachers can help make a decision.
