Clicking to print CAD batches from specified blocks or layers in the diagram does not work

Dear experts, I have a question: When trying to perform batch printing in CAD and selecting “Specify blocks or layers from the drawing”, nothing happens. What’s going on? Has anyone encountered this situation? I’ve been using Batch Print for many years now, and it’s really convenient. I would appreciate your advice. Thank you!
The problem has been solved, but the root cause has not been found. The solution to this problem is: when batch printing fails due to the inability to select specific blocks or layers from the drawing, one can return to the computer desktop, double-click on AutoCAD 2006, create a new blank dwg file, then copy and paste the graphic elements from the original file into the new one. After that, delete the original file and set up batch printing in the new file, and everything will return to normal. The problem has been solved, but the cause of the problem is unclear.
