Since the energy consumption in this process is quite high, I am considering implementing thermal integration. I would like to ask whether, when designing a heat exchange network, it is necessary to first carry out tower design (such as determining parameters like tower diameter and type of tray). I’m using Aspen V11; everything has been set up except for the tower internals. However, when I click on Energy Analysis, there is no flow rate information available. This is my first time working with heat exchange networks, so I’m not quite sure what’s going on. I hope someone experienced in this area can help me understand it
After you open Energy Analysis, simply import your simulation into it, and a heat exchange network will be generated automatically
Aspen Plus can be opened, but Aspen Energy Analyzer will not open. Is there any solution?
Your thermal integration software doesn’t have a license; you need to reinstall thermal integration
It’s probably a software license issue. Disconnect the network and try restarting Aspen Plus
