I am currently working on the design of a hydrogen production process in Aspen Plus. Since a RPlug reactor is planned to be used, what should be the size ranges for the pre-reformer, reformer, and water-gas shift reactor? Where can I find industrial data? Thank you
Please clarify what the production process for hydrogen is – is it water electrolysis, methanol cracking, propane dehydrogenation, or something else? If we’re lucky, maybe there will be experts on the forum who can offer some guidance
It’s too general; not specific enough; It’s necessary to explain clearly how to make it

What a question. If it is mature, ready-made device drawings are usually used ; If it is the first set, careful design and development are required.
Hydrogen production via methane reforming using natural gas and water vapor
I would like to ask about the reactor size for large-scale hydrogen production facilities, with a production capacity of around 5000 kg per hour; I’m mainly looking for some empirical data.
