Overview: EP3D EasyPlant P&ID is a process control flow diagram design software launched by Gaoga in 2021. It features a PID drawing symbol library and parameter library management, as well as the ability to automatically generate piping lists, material lists based on table templates, and custom table templates. It also integrates with the data from EP3D EasyPlant Piping, enabling consistency checks between PID diagrams and 3D models. The PID flow diagram includes all the equipment, instruments, pipes, and other utility installations of the plant. Key features: 1. Based on data storage, driven by a database ； 2. Define shapes based on rules and classify them ； 3. It can provide data support for digital handover and digital management. 4. PID diagram number: Users can define their own rules for PID numbering; the diagram number is generated automatically after the diagram is created, with sequential numbering supported ； 5. Tab definition: Customize tab output items and tab positions ； 6. Define the automatic annotation calculation area: Draw devices and pipes, automatically generate annotations, and calculate the positions of these annotations automatically. 7. Equipment and nozzles layout: (1) The software includes a library of commonly used equipment for PID drawing ； (2) Layout process: First, determine the approximate positions of the equipment and adjust its geometric parameters, then precisely locate the equipment ； (3) After the equipment is arranged, insert the nozzle. (4) There are no special requirements for nozzles, so no additional setup is needed. By enabling the automatic nozzle addition function, nozzles will be created automatically when connecting pipelines to equipment, and the properties of these nozzles will correspond to those of the pipelines. 8. Special symbols that are related to piping or symbols associated with the drawings. The software supports manual insertion of delimiters, as well as automatic generation of delimiters with one click. 9. In PID plotting, if special components or devices are used, the software supports users to customize and add them. 10. Drawing annotation: Software annotation is divided into automatic annotation and manual annotation.
