This post was last edited by Chen Peng_HxYxh on 2022-6-20 at 11:17. This tool was created by zhongshidachen. In PDMS, the built-in tools provide three ways to create grid systems, but each method has its own drawbacks: some make it difficult to capture intersection points, and others prevent proper projection when generating drawings. Therefore, I wrote my own tool for creating grid systems, which is shared below for everyone’s use. PS: With E3D, the grid tool has been redesigned – it’s simple to create, easy to use for snapping, and allows direct projection onto floor plans, along with the inclusion of dimensions and labels... Usage instructions: 1. Place the file griddesign.pmlfrm in the PMLLIB folder located in the installation path. 2. Execute the command PML REHASH ALL in the PDMS command line. 3. Enter show !!griddesign in the command line. Updated on 8/30/2021: Some users reported bugs in certain situations, so fixes were made and the attachment has been replaced.
Thank you to the original poster for sharing, but when I clicked on the instructions, it said they couldn’t be found
Well, I’m too lazy to write instructions after finishing it.....
Why create a three-dimensional grid system? It causes eye strain
Would you like to know about the interfaces between CAESARII and SP3D, PDMS, AutoPipe, as well as interface file handling? As well as full-featured software for stress analysis; you can search using the following title: “ProAS-CII pipeline stress assistance software for perfect data processing of stress interfaces when interfacing with PDMS and SP3D files” or via the following link: https://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-3281766-1-1.html (Source: Haichuan Chemical Industry Forum)
Why did I have to spend 3 wealth units? Couldn’t just one have been enough?
Group owner, how can I change the values between grid axes? Currently, only a fixed value can be generated; it’s not possible to enter custom values
I just added a default value; the user needs to enter their own grid spacing in the space below the X\Y\Z buttons, then press Enter.
Can the group owner add me on QQ? I really want to learn secondary development from you
I’m sorry, but I’m quite busy with work usually, and PML development isn’t my specialty; I’m afraid I won’t be able to provide detailed guidance. However, there are many teaching materials on PML development available online, so you can use those public resources to get started, and then consider writing your own code when you have a need for it in a real project. If you are very interested, feel free to join AVEVA to receive more professional guidance.
