PICAD is an application package based on AutoCAD, used for designing and drawing P&ID process flow diagrams; it is suitable for the design, drafting, and management of flow diagrams in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and power industry projects. This software includes various functions such as flowchart drawing, circuit information management, component material statistics, equipment list management, equipment port information management, and pipeline table information management. PICAD contains over 600 components commonly used in P&ID drawing, adhering to mainstream drawing standards. It also allows users to customize line styles and component graphics, featuring simplicity and ease of use. Together with its automatic material tracking function, it greatly enhances users’ efficiency in creating P&ID drawings and managing them. The software currently supports CAD software versions from 2010 to 2020. The beta version has been uploaded to the Yingbaiyer official website and can be downloaded for testing.
