PDMS Development Tools Sharing – Maintaining Position and Direction When Modifying Hierarchy

This tool was originally created by zhongshidachen for use with PDMS and E3D. Since their coordinates are stored in relative terms, adjusting the hierarchy of objects can cause changes in the coordinates/directions of those objects, as the coordinates/directions of their owners or higher-level elements may change as well. A small tool has been developed to provide an option that allows users to maintain the world coordinates/world direction of the selected objects while adjusting their hierarchy. PS: There is a similar tool in the Toolkit provided by AVEVA that performs the same function. Usage instructions: 1. Place the file SMARTINCLUDE.pmlfrm in the PMLLIB folder located at the installation path. 2. Execute the command PML REHASH ALL in the PDMS command line. 3. Enter show !!SMARTINCLUDE in the command line to open a window. 4. Check the option Keep POS&ORI wrt world to ensure that coordinates and directions remain unchanged when the hierarchy is moved
